Based in a hamlet between Andover and Newbury, this was Stephen’s Young first project and it was, in fact, for his own home. Because of this, he wanted to make sure that he chose the right company to help him throughout the process, one he could rely on for expert support as well as great quality product supply and installation.
Choosing the Right Heat Pump for the Project
To start with, we spent some time with Mr. Young to understand what he was looking for in a heat pump for his property. He required a heat pump that provides both hot water and heating as well as performance and energy efficiency.
We provided heat loss calculations and resulted in recommending STIEBEL ELTRON WPL25 Air Source Heat Pump. This was the number one choice as this would provide more than enough power for the property, efficiently and quietly. Perfectly matching Stephen Young’s specification, we progressed with the installation for this project.
How Did PBT Installations Help?
As mentioned above, we carried out the full heat pump installation. In addition to the STIEBEL ELTRON WPL25 Air Source Heat Pump, we also installed STIEBEL ELTRON Easytron individual room controls which connect directly to the heat pump. This was so higher efficiencies were available for Mr. Young’s property.
As well as this, we completed all the plumbing within the property. This included 3 bathrooms, a downstairs cloakroom and WC, plus both the kitchen and utility room. Underfloor heating was installed throughout the downstairs and radiators were installed upstairs, all by our team. We were always on-hand for advice and guidance throughout the project to answer questions and assist where we could.
