What to expect
Heat Pumps are more efficient and have a longer life span than traditional gas boilers, however keeping your heat pump well maintained is likely to increase its life span and ensure that you are getting the best performance possible from it.
PBT Installations specialise in STIEBEL ELTRON heat pumps and having worked with them for a number of years are confident in our ability to install and maintain the technology. Our team of MCS approved engineers are fully qualified to service your heat pump to ensure that it is running safely and efficiently.
What is included?
Air source heat pumps are the most common system installed, and as these units are exposed to the elements it is important for a service to ensure that:
+ Fan blades are clear from obstruction
+ Check the Evaporator is free from debris
+ A full visual check is performed to ensure that the heat pump is running efficiently
+ All relevant pipework pressure tested
+ Advice given to improve the use of the heat pump
Ground Source pumps also require servicing to ensure that the internal unit is performing correctly and relevant checks will be made, along with filter cleaning.
