Technologies
Highly effective as individual installations, these technologies can also be combined in a fully designed, integrated system to revolutionise your energy usage and save you significant amounts of money.

Installing PV panels on your property allows you to generate electricity to power your home. This could be to charge your electric vehicle, heat your home and hot water via your heat pump, or run other domestic appliances.
PV panels can be coupled with Battery Storage which allows you to store energy generated for use when electricity is at its most expensive – ie during peak time when you need it most.

Battery storage is one of the first renewable technologies we would recommend. Once installed, a home owner can buy electricity from the grid when tariff prices are low and store it for use later during peak times when prices are high. Once the investment has been made, savings are instant.
Batteries are easily and effectively combined with Solar PV, allowing excess energy generated from the panels to be stored later use, minimising or negating the need to purchase electricity from the grid.
Battery installations are currently 0% Vat until March 2027.

Heat pumps are at the heart of what we do at PBT Installations, having installed them for over 15 years.
This technology can heat both your home and hot water, and even your swimming pool if you are lucky enough to have one. Because they use energy so efficiently, when combined with solar panels and a storage battery it is possible to significantly reduce your heating and hot water bills, or eradicate them altogether.
We have worked with STIEBEL ELTRON for a long time, a german company that has been producing heat pumps for over 40 years. With minimal noise, maximum efficiencies and a technical support team that is second to none, they are our heat pump brand of choice.

An Energy Management System takes energy monitoring and management to the next level in reducing and conserving energy usage. It looks at how a property and its inhabitants use energy, and where savings can be made. It predicts the best times to use energy for routine tasks, facilitating this all with negligible input and without compromising comfort for the home owner.
Energy Management can also tie in with Smart Home Technology, enabling your home to predict lighting, heating, entertainment and shading at particular times of the day, as well as taking care of your home security.

We advocate heat pumps as the heat source for your home, but there are additional choices to be made for your heating system. No longer limited to radiators or underfloor heating, there are now options such as fan assisted radiators or duct-based central air distribution systems.
Cooling is also becoming more important in UK homes. With summers becoming hotter, the need for cool, fresh air in our homes is becoming more pressing. Exciting innovations now provide the distribution of warm, cool and fresh air all in one technology, taking away the need for air condition as an addition to your heating system.
the power of integration
Combining some or all of these technologies creates a synergy that optimises the efficiencies and economies associated with each one. This can result in a system so efficient in its use of energy that you can live comfortably and instead of paying for your energy, can actually receive an income from it.
Let us design your whole home energy system so you too can benefit from The Energy Revolution.
